India-based Pakistani singer Adnan Sami has reached an agreement with ex-wife and actress Zeba Bakhtiar in a legal battle over the right to spend time with his son.
Sami, who became a huge hit in India with his single “Lift kara dey“, divorced his actress-filmmaker wife Zeba, who had a dream debut in Bollywood in Raj Kapoor’s “Henna”.
Sami and Bakhtiar’s son Azan currently lives here in Pakistan with his mother. With the issuance of an order by the high court, Sami will be allowed to meet Azan with a 15-day notice.
Sami and Bakhtiar have also agreed to withdraw cases they had filed against each other, express news channel reported. Bakhtiar had recently expressed surprise at reports of their reunion doing the rounds of the media and dismissed the possibility. She said she was leading a happy life with her son Azan. While Bakhtiar is single, Sami has moved on and remarried.
